Slow Food Mother City

Slow Food Mother City aims to be a convivium which organises regular, affordable events, focusing on taste education, farm visits, relaxed meals, artisan food demonstrations and visits to small producers in the wider Cape Town area.

Good news! Early in 2010, Cape Town will have a new Slow Food group (or convivium, as the Italians like to call it): Slow Food Mother City. We will be offering regular events that celebrate good, clean and fair food. So if you’re interested in farm visits, picnics, CSAs, artisan food demonstrations and tastings, as well as meeting like-minded Capetonians, read on.
